The new Energizer Rapide charger is one of the newest hi-tech chargers available. Rapide by name and Rapide by nature, the latest AA 2450 mAh batteries charge in under 5 hours, and AAA 1000 mAh in just 3.5 hours.
The Rapide has a compact and stylish design which won't look out of place in your hi-tech home or office. The black charger door also adds another safety feature to the product ensuring that the batteries won't fall out and stops little fingers poking where they shouldn't!
Other added safety features include voltage and temperature control as well as additional LEDs to show the charging status of the batteries. An additional timer safety feature protects the batteries from being over-charged. Once the time limit is reached it switches to "trickle charge" mode; and as such avoids the risk of damage to the batteries from over-charging.
The Rapide also features a faulty battery indicator which will notify you when batteries have either been placed in the charger incorrectly, or are not working.
